The EXPO XXI Centre in Warsaw hosted the Mood Concept 2018 dedicated to original designs, combined with the presentation of the best global interior brands. During the event discussions comprised the extremely important topic of combating the plague of imitations and the so-called “inspired” products. The exceptional formula underlying this event, based on promoting ethical behaviour in designing and in design using, proved to provide a great amount of inspiration and knowledge. The educational mission was joined by Ferruccio Laviani, Italian designer and artistic director of the Kartell brand, special guest of this event. We had the pleasure to deliver lectures and talk about commercial designs developed by JMW Architekci and about the role of original design in the creative process.
